Does anyone have any idea what clip setting to go with stock coils on a 5100 shock. For a 3in lift on a 2nd gen 4cyl with 4 wheel drive

    Nope not going to happen!
Research the shocks at just about anywhere. For a Second Gen
    1st clip = 0″ (stock)
    2nd clip = 0.85″
    3rd clip = 1.75″
    4th clip = 2.50″
More info about model truck via Bilstein web site.

The top setting will get you as close as you will get to 3".
