    Update:: Well it's 2020. I have a Colonoscopy scheduled for Jan 28th I hate those but It has been 10 years. So Dr. said I gotta do it. Still in a lot of pain.
    Going back to my Kidney Dr. first week in Feb to see if he can give me some relief for the cyst on my left kidney. It hurts so bad I am almost ready to tell him to remove the kidney. This is the same kidney that he removed a tumor from in 2017.
    As some of you know I lost my Dog in November to kidney Cancer. Not ready to replace him yet. But I was pissed off enough to take home water samples to Birmingham Alabama to have them tested. Still have not gotten the results back yet.
    Be safe everyone, Thanks for following me through all of this. Bill.

    The shittiest kind of news. Sorry man. I have a 70yo uncle who's been living with multiple myeloma as long as I can remember -- at least 30 years. He did have a bone marrow transplant at one point, but has been taking oral chemo and living a normal life 95% of the time. Hope is out there.

    @botanyjames I had my transplant in 2017 and do chemo 3 times a month to try and keep it down. So Far so good. Congrats to your Uncle for keeping up the fight. :fistbump:

    Well I have been forced onto medicare at the age of 60 because of my Cancer. My Health Insurance has kicked me off because of medicare. I no longer have my grants that have been paying for my Cancer medications. Not sure today what my future holds.
    Be safe everyone thanks for keeping up with my thread.

    I’m sorry to hear about losing the assistance. Have you Googled different manufacturers versions of the meds you are on to see if they have any copay assistance or grant programs? You might try that. There are several versions of the drug I’m in and I bounce back and forth to the one that pays my copays. Best of luck to you.

    I have a MRI at 6 in the morning and lab work at 8 and Cancer Dr. appt at 9:50am all tomorrow. My colonoscopy came back clean. This MRI is to check my kidneys. The monthly chemo I take is rough on the kidneys. Later everyone

    I lost my mom in October. Fuck.

    she had MM and a few other health issues but she was fighting and this was unexpected. We still don’t know if it was the MM or what. The death certificate says “pending further study” in the box for cause of death.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Most of the time when a person with MM loses the battle they list the cause of Death as Phenomena. Again sorry for your loss.

    Just got a call from Emory University that a private donor/company will be picking up the total cost for my chemo this year for 12 months. Now I can sleep again.

    Solid! Is this something you applied for? Just found out I have another recurrence so it looks like surgery and chemo are going to put me out of work for another 3 months (3rd time in 6 years) and I only have 50 hours of paid time off...trying to not stress on the finances but it's difficult to ignore them.

    This is something that the patient support system at my Hospital applied for, I did not qualify the first two times. So they applied to a third place and I was approved.

    Well I been layin real low during all this COVID-19 mess. Had lab work done last week and a Telehealth visit from the Dr. this morning. All is good.:fingerscrossed:
    My numbers are good. Last August I did a Bone Marrow biopsy and My MRD came back negative. I have another Bone Biopsy this coming August. Dr. said if that comes back negative for 3 more years I can come off of this monthly chemo. and just do lab work every six months.
    Hope everyone is well during this COVID-19 mess. Thanks for keeping track of my Thread and the prayers.
    @scottalot :thumbsup:
