Are you under the recall for the low pressure fuel pump? I wonder if it is failing and starving the high pressure pump.

Am I still winning the pool? Lmao. I'm sticking with my story. Sorry OP for you getting drug around at the stealership. One of the reasons I left Kia, and Ford.

Forgot. If the cat was bad I still think a P0420/430 would present. Just sayin.

After everything. It was the muffler. I installed the TRD exhaust around 6K miles and the muffler crapped out and clogged the exhaust. Even though I added the exhaust and the cats were removed and reinstalled Toyota covered everything. They even replaced the exhaust with a TRD one, that I added and didn’t come with the truck. I am definitely happy with Toyota.

    Good for you!

What you are really happy with is your dealer. Toyota won't look twice at that paperwork. But many dealers would have sent you off on your own.

You might find out if your service writer is a long timer, compliment him to his boss, and drop by to hand him a gift card that would cover a lunch or two. Doesnt have to cost much, its the gesture that is meaningful.

Nice to see there's still "good" dealership service departments.
