Since day one the day I drove it off the lot it has never drove straight. It was a showroom truck and I have drove other trucks so I just bought it directly from the showroom floor. So I never knew it did not drive straight. The dealership did another front end alignment on it still did not drive straight.. We changed the tires and did another front end alignment still does not drive straight. Switch dealerships and finally they called Toyota Canada and they said change the leaf springs at the rear. The truck did not sit level half inch higher on one side than the other. Repair done and still does not drive straight but it is better.
Very frustrated and now 14 months later and 70000 km, 5 front end alignments, new set of springs at rear of truck, new set of tires, I have no idea what they're going to do next. Still waiting 4 weeks later for response. They are looking into it they say. Grrrrrrrrrr
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks Dave

Which direction does it pull? Is the steering wheel straight?

I hold the wheel at 11 o'clock, if I keep the wheel straight I drive to the right ditch.

Quite a few things at this point..
I'm having the same issue, have done 3 alignments and it's still not straight. When my steering wheel is straight, I go to the left

Does it pull to the right or is the steering wheel just not straight? It's easy to straighten out the steering wheel.

Since the new rear leaf springs were installed it is much better. I will ask for print out of alignment.
Will ask about the steering wheel also being straight during alignment. Still has small pull to right.

This is something I've been wondering if possible. Been curious if the steering wheel itself could be the issue and not the alignment parts

How does one straighten out the steering wheel? If you don't mind.

By moving the tierods the opposite (I believe it's the opposite) direction as the wheel. If the wheel is offcenter to the left than both tierods are turned to the right. So the passenger side gets longer and the drivers side gets shorter.

I may being saying that backwards but it works the same.

Yup. Take it to an alignment shop. A shop that only does alignments. I had 4 alignments done at Firestone’s and dealers. Took it to a shop that only does alignments and they fixed it. If they don’t do a before and after test drive they are worthless.

If you let go of the wheel and it tracks straight but with the steering wheel off, that can be corrected. You’d need to shorten the passenger side tie rod and lengthen the driver side by the same amount. Start with 1 full turn and see if that’s better.

Now if you let go of the wheel and it pulls to the right, then there is an alignment issue that needs to be corrected. Check for pull on a road without a lot of crown in it.

Edit: this is for the ops problem of the wheel turned to the left when going straight

Pulling left wouldn't be an alignment issue?

If there is a pull, then it would indicate the tires aren’t tracking down the road. There will always be a bit of angle that the contact patch has to compensate for road crown and reduce wandering. But if you are on a flat, straight road, the truck should go straight if you let go of the wheel (obviously assuming the brake system isn’t dragging on one wheel which would also cause a pull). If it pulls, something is off with the alignment.

Yes I forgot, my front caliber was dragging and they did replace that under warranty.
Then they replaced my rear leaf springs a few months after that and it did help. It still has a small drift to the right and yes the steering wheel I hold at 11 o'clock
