Hey everybody. I'm new here. I've had four tacos and I currently have a 2018 off road. And it's awesome.

Thanks for having me here everyone. Very cool.

I had something strange happen over the weekend. I was pulling out of a parking space in a flat lot in completely dry conditions. I turned the wheel hard to the passenger side and hit the gas gently. As I started to move forward, it seemed like traction control kicked in for about two seconds. I saw the slip indicator on the dash and heard/felt the shudder. It continued for a moment as I rolled forward slowly in a straight line and then didn't do it again. I looked around and all seems good. Anyone else? I do have a 2" suspension lift but absolutely no issues for the last year.

Yep, has happened to me in the 4Runner. Might have been a slight bit of wheel slip or the computer sensed enough of a speed mismatch to trigger traction control.

Right on. I was wondering if it was more wheel speed than traction.

    Thanks man.
