When will the next batch be cranking up?

Also, are there any pics of number 13? I searched for a while, but it's a long thread!

If you shoot me 3 or 4 bucks for shipping I can send a shim kit to you. But, you can just jam paper down there until it works with the same results ... it's just infuriating to do it this way. I prefer the mathematical approach.

Literally tomorrow. I just finished up my obligations tonight and shipping all of that tomorrow.

    Except you @tonered ,lol.

I will post here tomorrow to round up everyone wanting delrin hybrids. If we hit 15 total I can give 15% discount.

There isn't much traffic coming in here anymore, so it might be another week before I can begin.

Oh, and the Toyota engraving, I will dig pictures up for that. There are only 2 of them out there. One in solid stainless, the other in solid aluminum.

Can't endorse Ricks comment below enough...the math is the best route. 2nd shim is the mark

I'm still tempted to get that core shifter but I really want to keep my Ti knob.

@7r41lbr34k3r, I don't remember if you said the thread was the same, but regardless the boot probably isn't long enough because I think the Core is actually taller. Is there any way to modify the V2 to work with the Core shifter, or would just getting the boot re-upholstered be a better solution?

I still am not a fan of the other two RedlineGoods pieces, but shift boot is something that I appreciate almost daily. They have options for different lengths, plus and minus.

And, yes. The core shifter is SAE and we're metric. I think @7r41lbr34k3r made at least one adapter?

Ahh, ok. The Core is really just an extension anyway and I'm sure something could be fabbed. I'll have to look at the Redline boots. I had not even looked into it.

Hurst arm is 3/16" - 16 thread spec, and you can find an adapter at summit racing among others.

I could just make the adapter I guess. I've got access to a lathe at work.

Thay was my big dream for @7r41lbr34k3r since I can't even go there with Core. That shiney shaft and meh knob.

I just want the base, dammit! :D

    Sorry!

At least the shift boot is inexpensive!

I guess I meant the "sticky up-y part with the spinny points" was just an extension. I believe the whole deal below that is custom.

Yep! I just want the two pieces below the shaft. The Core base and bracket. Too bad the vendor is a no go for that.

I'm way too happy with my knob and I know Rick and I could work out a shaft.

It seriously looks like just a piece of 1/2" bar stock that they sweged to have flats and chromed. Any farmer with a welder, grade 8 bolt and some bar stock could make that shit up. I'd find a piece of Ti round bar to use though. @TeecoTaco

I'm going back to look at the other shafts actually, turns out I'm sitting a little high on the new knob. iirc there were two arms that could work, one taller one shorter. gonna look at the shorter one. but yes, big nasty chrome.

    Yes! Exactly.

If only I was a farmer, I would have that welder. :D

Rick turned me on to This Old Tony on YouTube. He's becoming a bad influence.

Otherwise, you could just hacksaw that Ti! :cookiemonster:

There are a bunch of nasty, shiney shaft options. I can't remember if they are on the Core site or linked over to Hurst.
