5 days in a week x 52 weeks in a year is 260 work days.
10 minutes x 260 days is 2600 minutes.
40 hours x 60 minutes in an hour is 2400 minutes.

So, you would actually get a weeks pay PLUS an extra 3 hours and 20 minutes just to grow on I guess.

 

Math checks out. Except you forgot PTO, sick time, and paid holidays.

So that extra 200 minutes makes up for most of that
