The OEM Denso spark plugs at the local dealership are #90919-01235. Cross reference with NAPA shows it is the same as the 3381 spark plug. Is there any reason to buy the spark plugs at the dealership or will the plugs be the same from NAPA? There is a cost difference.

I got mine at NAPA. Can’t remember just make sure the Denso part #’s on the box match. There were pics on the write up here on TW of the Toyota box.. same product different box and price.

    Again, match part #.

I got my Denso plugs from Napa, but I didn’t compare prices with Toyota. The plugs have been in for 25,000 miles with no issues.

Put in the Denso number and you can get them 3.70 a piece on Amazon. Just making sure the Toyota package does not have a superior quality.

It’s the same part from Denso. Toyota does nothing but put out it in their box.. lol

Unfortunately I would not trust Amazon for spark plugs. Lots of fake spark plugs being sold on Amazon. Check youtube for comparasions. One person contacted NGK and asked if they were genuine NGK said no.

To be safe purchase from Dealer. Spark plugs for our trucks are super cheap even from the dealer since we use non iridium.

The part number referenced above costs $2.74 a piece from ToyotaPartsDeal. Not sure why someone would to by elsewhere. Toyota is not making hardly any money on these.

The Toyota boxed Denso plugs were actually cheaper at the dealer for me, $2.50 each.

It’s <$25 for 6 at the dealer and they last up to 50K miles. I pinch pennies where it’s acceptable but pinching pennies on spark plugs is not a place where I will.

$25.20 at dealership for all 6. I keep my receipts, and the more that say Toyota the better it would be if I wanna sell mine some day. I cheap out on plenty other things not related to the engine or drive train. :notsure:

Toyota packaged ones may be pre-gapped (to save the mechanic time).

I bought mine from Napa and all were pre gapped.

One was slightly off but still useable if I didn’t check.

    Pretty sure Denso.

I don’t imagine NAPA would sell Denso with their own packaging, since it’s not their item? I wish I had taken a pic tho.
