If its gonna last that long I may just spring for a nice sleeve.

Just out of curiosity do you at least have a cool story about your ACL tear?

I don’t know if it is a cool story but it was during a rugby game. We didn’t win the game either :(

    Like, so many.
Bro, I rolled out of bed the other day and I realized I "slept wrong" and now my back hurts. How is that even a thing? Oh, because I'm old. This is my life now.

I actually recently heard from a spine doc one of the most common ways people injure their backs (or more like worsen a prexisting issue) is by sneezing or coughing while bending over.

    Wuuut?

Repeat steps 8 & 9 until you have no friends and realize you don't even go to crossfit enough to have crossfit friends

Well as a woman when you're blessed with the chin of a dictator going on gear might give me an awesome jawline (but im not going on gear, ever). Im just happy with my body gains.

I didnt tell all you guys in here this, but another reason I was getting in better shape, or rather another goal I added for myself was to make a badass lesbian festival in April and look awesome, and feel great. And now it looks like the festival is going to cancel (thanks coronavirus). Its saddening because I wanted to go SO BAD, but now i have more time to get shredded. Gotta look on the brightside even though I am going to be out a boatload of $$$$$$ I will have more gains by the time they reschedule or next year or coronavirus launches us into a post-corona world and then the festival never happens.

Rant over: yesterday I did squats, bench, chinups, grip work, curls, and calves. then I did 2mins planks at the end (i havent felt my abs on fire like that in a while)

I believe it. I’ve tweaked my neck a time or two on a real good sneeze.

Now I feel less like an old ass lol at least its not just me.

I kind of feel bad being on my 3rd ortho surgery (had a hernia repair way back in 2004ish).
Whats interesting is the sports ortho office I’m working with obviously does primarily all athletes. There are a lot of high school athletes that have scars on both knees, some ankles, and some kids post spine surgery.
Fuck I’m not bad at all compared to these kids!
They make me look like an amateur

Yeah my wife and I just canceled our trip for next week because of it. We had been planning this for 6 months. Not particularly worried about getting sick ourselves as healthy 20somethings... mainly worried about getting trapped in New Hampshire 20 hours from home.

Like you said though you gotta look on the bright side. I can assemble my gym a week early (shipment arrives Monday) and basically spend the week at home working out and hanging with the wife. Not all bad.

You know my surgery came at the perfect time.
I’m not gonna be surprised to see all the races I was going for cancelled. So happy I didn’t waste money on a coach.

I lost all my vacation, personal, and sick leave. Uhhh not gonna travel now.

So what I was bummed about before was never gonna happen anyways lol

I would be much more upset if things had worked out where I could still do those things, but the virus probably screwed it all up anyways.

Keep focused. Still always be proud of yourself for reaching your goals.

I had a buddy who did his taking a leak. Leaned against the wall (he was drunk) and went over....pissed on himself a bit too. despite the seriousness, we still laughed our asses off.
