I'm about to assemble my Bilstein 5100 and Head Strong Off Road 2.5" coils. Does the coil sit right on the metal perch or is there supposed to be a bushing on the seat like on the top hat?

The gspring sits on the perch. I read somewhere in another thread that the fsm says to align the bottom end of the coil to the back of the assembly.

I see the typo. It's staying. Lol
