Bought the truck in November. 48k and now has 52k. Completely stock. I bought this as a hunting/off road/run around truck.
It now has a driveline vibration I did not notice when I bought it. It's under warranty as it was a certified used.
The vibration was under 1/2 to full throttle acceleration from a stop. I put it in 4wd and it doesn't do it.
I drop it off at the dealer, he says its the carrier bearing, which did have play in it, I told him my diagnosis. When I picked the truck up they informed me they did the CB and the needle bearing. Sweet! If I'd have known I would have ordered the ECGS bushing but oh well.
I drive it home and it still has the same vibration plus a vibration from 25 mph to about 35 mph. I have no idea on the original vibration since it still doesn't do it in 4wd. I'm thinking he didn't put the drive shaft back in the yoke as it was originally and that has caused the new vibration.

    It goes back on Monday.

    Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 2011 4x4 crew cab. A repair shop claimed vibration due to center bearing so they replaced it. Picked up and after driving the vibration was worse! Moving forward a few days took it to the dealer and advised repair shop replaced center bearing but vibration worse. Dealer claimed repair shop installed bearing incorrectly and told me best to replace AGAIN! So let them (will deal with repair shop later) and now I have a new Toyota center bearing, but I still have the vibration. Took it back and dealer gave me Toyota TSB claiming slight vibration caused by the rear settling causing the pinion angle to change, or it could be caused by engine or transmission mounts, or it's caused by something else because my eyes were glossed over! Bottom line, they claim Toyota won't do anything because it's not a hazard. But try and sell it with the vibration.
