Just finished installing a set of these beefy hanger hooks. Super easy to install and much more functional and practical compared to the stock "nubby" hooks.. Great product!

@SUMOTNK How in the heck did you get the factory hooks out? I have tried and tried to twist them, but they won’t turn. From looking at the beefy ones, it looks like you turn them counterclockwise to remove, but mine won’t budge.

Try pushing while trying to turn. One of mine was really difficult to remove and I had to resort to using a small metal rod to get a little more leverage.

There’s a tab that you push to allow it to turn. Nobody mentions that. When you push that tab, it turns easy.

Is @rogerkamp8817 or anybody else making these or similar coat hooks?

Snapped one of mine meddling with the headliner.

I can definitely make these however I don't want to take the idea from the OP.
If he doesn't respond for a week or two or is no longer willing to make them shoot me a PM.

I can also make pretty much anything less than 14"x14"x14" in a PLA 3d printed plastic.

I sent @rogerkamp8817 a message on 5/19/21 asking if he still made them and got no response.

Finally got a chance to model the hook and print a prototype.

    All good so far!

This is a PLA plastic test part which is sufficient for cooler temperatures (under 100°F) as it will deform under load when hot.

I have a much stronger and more heat resistant filament arriving soon so be on the lookout for a group buy!

I’d be interested in a closed eye instead of a hook - something I can run paracord or a carabiner through. Hooks are only as good as the biggest bump in the road they can take before their cargo jumps off.

How are you liking the Prusa? I've been eyeing a few different printers. I do large scale RC Jeeps for a hobby, I've designed/printer parts to make 2 piece RTV molds to cast copies out of styrene. I lost my access to a printer, so it's time to buy one of my own.

First batch of ASA hangers are off the
    printer!

I will be posting the official for sale thread Monday night. Gotta test these this weekend to make sure they hold up in the 100° heat out here in the socal desert.

A black color option will be available the following weekend.

If there are any requests for custom hooks or features please PM me. I run an engineering service and 3D print service as a side business.
