I try but just a heads up sometimes PMing me works best, I am not getting alerts very well right now it's sporadic, even for tags so I have missed a lot of stuff for days until someone alerts me to it. IDK what's going on when I get back from Windrock I'll look into it more.

Had a fun short trail ride with @tweakit88 this afternoon it ended up being more eventful than expected (for me at least) from the trail we were on. Fun none the less.

RZRs are great in the mud aren't so good on rock especially slick rock, Yokos are eh, Nitto trail graps are heavy AF great on the rock moderate in the mud, the Cooper MTPs (Evolution MTs) are pretty good all around, STT Pros are a little better, M/T MTZ P3s are about the same as the STT Pro, I've got on order the new M/T Baja Boss, Gdyr MTR is decent but a little pricey for what it can do, The Toyo MTs are a tad better than their sister Nitto. The Milestars are great in the dry and rock eh in the mud. I wouldn't even look at the mastercrafts or some of the other cheaper options never been impressed with them or the other cheap options, Milestars have been the only ones I've seen that I would consider.

#nogroundclearance. You just drug belly all over that part. I don't know it's about the same as I remember it just washed in some places!
My favorite park thus far and idk I think it's great the hard trails are hella fun and the speed at which you can go is a total blast
This is going to be fun I may need to call see if a shop has some tires for me :anonymous:
That was interesting watching you try and figure out the throttle thing. Me saying light on throttle then vroooommmmm

This is why Matt dinked his DS it's really not bad, he'll ride for a long while with the scrapes. It's just an adventure.

Pretty sure Eddy made hi-lift slots in his early bumpers and ran into stress cracking issues from them. I would not use the flush mount slots for a Hi-lift jack point.

You're right his early early stuff he did put the hi-lift mounts in both the front and rear. Didn't run into cracking issues as more the hole and such would start to deform and get bent and mangled up since it's just 3/16" plate lifting the whole truck. Even if he braced it all in there and stuff for the hi-lift with any real use it would eventually start doing the same thing. It would take a lot of bracing and added weight to do them proper. Plus it's just as easy to run a shackle through the recovery point and jack using the shackle.

Thanks for the clarification! I knew there were issues in the early runs, but I guess I remembered them wrong.

Now go make Matt break stuff

There may have been some eventual cracking on a couple from bending back and forth. We talked about doing them again but with the issues it isn't worth it. The front would be a PITA because of all the angles there are no flat vertical surfaces. In all honesty hi-lift mounts in a bumper are kinda a novelty how many do you see in all the bumper manufacturers for all the different manufacturers, and there is only a very niche market of people that want them. Personally I think there are safer places and better jacking methods that can be used before the bumper. There may be some corner steps integrated into the HC rear bumpers like we did on the JT bumper now that is really a good option for the trucks. We may do smaller ones on the 5th gen runner bumper too.

To yours, mine, and Matt's defense it was that Jeep kid that started spotting you as I was trying to get down there I blame the jeeper! Although he does know and wheel with Grubicon on IG if anyone knows that build and Jeep. Here is a snipit of that Jeep at KOH.

Had some bad experience from jeepers on the trails. Worst was an idiot running over an attached winch line at aop

All depends on who the Jeep guy is this kid was actually not bad at all I was just doing the yota guy thing talking trash. We actually had a good experience with the SxS and jeep guys we saw it was the dirt bikers that were jerks and impatient.

True that. Being the typical majority of vehicles on the trails, chances are higher of running into bad jeepers

    definitely not all bad
