Hit in Walmart parking lot

While inside rhonert park Walmart my truck got hit. Not awful but still pissed about it!

 

That would piss me off as well. That’s why I park 10 miles away from stuff LOL

 

Fucking California drivers, some of the worst in the country... sorry that happened op

 

That sucks! Another reason to stay away from the RP walmart.

 

Did they run or stick around? Had a minor ding like that on mine and insurance quoted $3k of damage. Had them cut me a check and I upgraded to SOS Armor

Had a similar hit in run in a parking lot. Cost me close to 800 bucks to get it done. Didn’t file an insurance claim cause my deductible was 500.

 

RP police are looking at the cameras, then we'll go from there.

Not really. They remove the bumper and fender flare sand, fill, and paint

 

They won’t do anything, it’s private property. Even if they find the car and driver the police need to decide who is at fault for the insurance. It’s about 500-1000 repair here in NM, so probably double where you are

 

Luckily mine wasn’t a hit and run. She backed into me while it was parked in my driveway

 

I was in a hurray at the mall grabbing a leash for my surf board parked next to a truck with a trailer with some rubbishing hanging off. Thought I would be out before they left. Nope

Did you get toilet paper though?

 

Have any sources to back that up? You can camp there overnight because the landowner (Walmart) says you can, not because it is public land.

 

I could be wrong, public or private, you can still report a hit and run collision. Sorry I misspoke, what I’m trying to say was it depends, some Walmart locations are tenants and some own their own property. Wouldn’t hurt to file the police report anyways.

 

The officer was extremely nice, after reviewing the camera footage which showed the suv that was parked next to my truck backing up into my passenger front bumper.

He was not able to get a license plate number. The cameras weren’t really great quality and extremely grainy.

I filed a report and I’ll get a quick quote to see if I want to turn it in and have to pay my deductible.

No toilet paper left in Sonoma county LMAO!!
