There's always something new for me to see and learn here........, sometimes you just have to wait for it.
The next innovative mod is usually just around the corner!

That's how this thread goes. It's a mixed bag, never know what your gonna get. I've been with this thread since the beginning, and always enjoy the camaraderie and TW friends that I have made! Lots of good and like minded people from all over the world on here that sometimes get a little off topic, but I think most of us enjoy those posts just as well! I think this thread would be boring and probably dead otherwise! Just my 2 cents!

Nice use of what is otherwise pretty much wasted space unless one needs all that space to keep a pen. Good idea Jeff.
Remember I said sometimes you just have to wait a bit to see something new?
    That didn't take very long!

If you look the passenger side edge of the windshield you’ll see a little line with those numbers and it’s just a marker to say how far the tint strip can go down across the top of the windshield. If you look at my post where the tint stops it’s where that line is

Lol, you are right buddy! It was almost a perfect fit,b could not make it work without cutting that little tab off of there and it is a great spot for it. Completely out of sight and doesn't take up any space that could be used for anything else, and opens and shuts just fine! Highly recommend that magnet very strong!:thumbsup:

Alright, sticking it to Baja Designs day 2. I think the following (very rough) schematic is correct, after watching a few YouTubes and reading some threads I attempted to draw this from memory to see if I understood. I know it's incredibly basic to anyone in the know but for me I just need to be sure I'm barking up the right tree.

The plan is to pick up a 10amp relay today and some spare 12g (for the lights) and 18g (for the switch) wire, some heat shrink and rebuild BD's "economy" harness into a functional harness.

If it wasn’t so hard to find a CCHG that actually fits in my hand I’d think about it. That’s why I got the 43x since it has the extended handle for a full grip and 10rd mags

I realized one small mistake already, I need power into the switch for the switch to complete the circuit. Hot wire from the switch to the relay, but no hot wire to the switch and it can't power the relay.
