    Hello there.
Looking to start upgrading my audio and thought it would be best to start with speakers. I already got a pioneer radio, but any suggestions. Looking for something under $175.

If you want amazing sound, I’ve found that JL C1-690 components in the front and JL C1-650’s in the rear are the best bang for your buck. It’ll be a little over $200 for all 4 but well worth it.

You may do better posting this in the audio section.

As long as you have an updated head unit Pioneer and Alpine are pretty top rates speaker systems.

My advice is if you are going to go through the work of upgrading speakers, upgrade everything. Speakers, tweeters, and subs. Might as well as long as you have the whole truck ripped apart.

Are the 2nd gen entunes really that bad? I do catch myself having it close to max volume once in a while but I love it. I guess I’m use to a radio from a 06 Silverado w/t, my iPhone speaker is better.

I did Kicker DS series.....high sensitivity and lower rms which matches great to factory or aftermarket head units. I did Subaru drop in tweeter mod in dash....these made huge difference

I just got of chat with Crutchfield. Only place I'll buy because they include all of connections and mounting adapters...And customer service is GOLDEN.
So, Amazon can look cheaper but don't forget those items.

    OEM HU 2014 Tacoma
Bought Infinity REF-9632ix 6x9 for front doors and REF-6532ex 6.5" for back doors

High sensitivity and lower impedance for use with OEM HU. $175
