OK I was just at Walmart last night. We went back today because my wife wanted a few things I didn't get.

It was way worse than it was 24 hours ago.





No water, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, meats, eggs, milk, cleaning supplies, rice, canned goods, sugar. Vinegar was restocked though.

 

That's what it looked like at Staters Bros store up here today !!!!

 

No. No offense but dealt way too much with China on several fronts. Including sending them back where they came from for intellectual theft. Because in their culture they feel it is OK to steal and are treated as heroes when they return even when I call the black shirts to send them back. No. Just no.

At least with the Russians we could pancake their planes with our aircraft and no major incident ever occurred. The Chinese, erh not so much...

There are pictures of me in Russia someplace giving their bears the Hawaiian good luck gesture as they flew over us trying to figure out how we did refueling at sea. Most of the time I was on the main engine throttle driving, was a welcome reprieve to go topside and watch. It was a fine touch even with a suicide handle on the valve wheel.

Wish I could get 3 phase here would have some kick ass wood working power tools. On the ships we had to do the emergency diesel generators in a lot less than 17 seconds. And when bringing the ships service turbine generators on line switching from shore power trying to keep the phases and power in sync when you threw the switch was always exciting... Good way to knock the dust bunnies out of the overhead LOL

My main office is in the living room, swing arm for the monitor held down by 100 lbs. of lead shot. One spare bedroom is the official office but haven't gotten around to fixing it up yet. Need to at some point, soon as a backup. The other bedroom is my workout room. That gets some use.

I always go first thing Saturday morning when the local nit-wits sleep in.
Today was a bit different.
Full parking lot.
Shelves cleaned out. meat section was cleaned out. Soup and canned goods gone.
Forget the paper goods section. One can hear an echo in that area.

I'm in pretty good shape here.
Freezer full of venison, plenty of shit paper, propane, canned goods as well as booze and bullets.
