I bought Wildpeaks even though I said I wouldn't.

I HATE using the same brands as everyone else, so for that reason I had zero plans to ever use Falken Wildpeaks. Then this happened and it came from the factory with the Falkens.
It has no power but so far has gotten exactly 30 in mixed driving. The 8 speed auto shifts its little heart out, always jumping around. Being an 8 speed the difference between each gear is only 500 or so RPM shifts seem a lot less dramatic than in the Tacoma and since it has a quiet exhaust much less fanfare than the TRD exhaust on the Tacoma.

It certainly seems more car like than the Tacoma and I like that. I didn't even look at the 4Runner as I knew it would have a very similar feel to the Tacoma. I mostly buy white vehicles so this color is a departure for me. When they first showed it in 2018 Toyota called it Lunar Green, but now they have changed it to Lunar Rock. Some people only see gray, but I absolutely see green in it.

The 86 went away. It was the best handling car I have ever owned and one of the best handling on the market today, but I simply wasn't driving it. When it was nice enough to drive the 86 I was on a motorcycle. I also have two other manual transmission 2 seater cars, so the 86 was pretty redundant.

Plus I have a pretty serious girlfriend now with two kids and I really didn't have a car we could all fit into. So practicality wins.

I like it. Will probably look at RAVs when it's time to replace the Subaru. And I have WP's on the Jeep and like them too.
