    20200307_163053.jpg Hi everyone,
First of all I want to say that I just love our Tacoma. I have a feeling that our family will enjoy this truck for a long time.
What have i learned so far about it, a few things...like yesterday when i went to gas up and i couldn't find how to lock the gas door or cap!, turns out you can't...so immediately I went to Canadian Tire and purchased one from MotoRad. I hope it will no give me trouble codes like the one on our Honda Pilot did when I replaced the non locking with a locking type.
Second thing that surprised me was when I started watching how to change engine oil, Tacoma gen 3 uses a cartridge type same as in our BMW...not the same part number but kinda close, but the shocker was the fact that toyota used a thermoplastic housing for the filter...I was surprised!, immediately I ordered an aluminum replacement from Amazon.ca and an aluminum tool to unscrew the housing.
Another trip to our Canadian Tire and picked up some K&N oil filters and a K&N drop in air filters (all our vehicles, 5 in total have them).
So yes, it's exiting to look at things for our Tacoma, in the future I plan on replacing all incandescent light bulbs with LED's Sylvania Zevo's, add a Borla exhaust tip, Carhartt seat covers and Husky rubber floor mats.
For suspension upgrades I will go with Timbren bump shocks...got them on the Pilot too and they work great.
I would also like to replace the dash and door speakers with some Focal's but keep the factory head unit...now let's convince the wife to agree to all of these ...in time...

Welcome to Tacomaworld, get ready for unsolicited opinions.

I had carhartt covers and wet okole. Much preferred the wet okole.

I had Husky and Weathertech floor liners and much preferred the weathertech.

Look into doing the fog light anytime mod. Best way to improve high beam lighting.

    Hello, welcome to Tacomaworld. :hattip:

Please look around, lots of great information to be found in these pages. The downside is that it is intertwined with lots of horrible information. Also, I would suggest putting your credit cards in the freezer. This place has a way of finding lots of stuff to buy for your truck.:annoyed:
