Sure. So lets say the last time I turned the truck off, I left the light selector in the DRL position. When I turn the truck on the driver side switchback halo will come on, but the passenger side will not. I have to move the selector to the headlight position and then it will come on, then I can switch to whatever setting and it works normally. If I turned the truck off with the selector on the headlight position, same thing happens but I have to switch off the headlight position and back for the passenger halo to come on.

Exactly like this guide, save the fuse being in the EFI spot since I didn't have the EFI2. Besides that the only thing that changed since I got the box from you is that I had to repair the connector to the fuse tap since it came undone when I was installing it.

With DRL harness the headlight selector doesn’t actually control the halos. That’s why I’m kinda stumped at what’s going on

@kustom54lighting Thanks for the great thread.
I've got a quick question if you don't mind.
I'm gonna finish up on my D2S 5.0 install tomorrow and originally had just ordered some white demon eyes to try to highlight the metalic blue cutoff sheild and FGL I painted.
Well I decided to order a some 80mm and 110mm profile pivot switchbacks to go in/on the pamemera shroud.
Do you think it would benifit at all from running the white demon eye along with the halos or just leave it off as the halos would drown it out anyways and just be pointless?
Also the clear plastic defuser that goes around the middle of the Panemara shroud, would you put that back on or just leave it off?

    Thanks!

I run the pivot halos and a seaman eye but RGB. The daemon eye highlights the projector and halo does the rest. if you have it why not

Hey, you shouldn’t run demon eyes unless it’s for a short time to take pics or for shows. They will blow out quicker if they are ran all the time. We always put the panamera diffuser back on.

    Question:

I am building another set of HIDs and am curious if using one of those headlight restoration kits on the inside of the lens will cause it to haze prematurely. I thought this is a good time to polish them up inside and out but I don't want to do it if it'll cause them to haze over quicker than they will if I do nothing.

Edit: I decided to leave it alone. I'm worried I will strip any protectant material that might still be on the lens.
