After visiting 8 dealerships and doing tons of online research, I picked up this beauty last Saturday. I had it narrowed down to two trucks, the Chevy Colorado Z71 and a Toyota Tacoma. After test driving both, I decided on the Toyota. It beat the Colorado in every regard. The Toyota handled better, had a quieter cab, had a better interior, and after a ton of research, I realized it had a higher resale value as well as better reliability overall.

I had to say goodbye to my Chevy Sonic that I had driven for almost 8 years. I totally missed having a truck, and boy did I get a good one! I couldn’t be happier with Merle, my 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Got a hell of a deal and had a very pleasurable buying experience at Bob Howard Toyota in Edmond, OK. If you're in the area and looking for a Taco, I would highly suggest stopping by.

As far as upgrades go, I don't plan on doing TOO much at the moment. Just a few cosmetic things, like a bug shield, window guards, and maybe a black Toyota emblem for the front. I love it just as is!

I am looking forward to doing a lot of research on this forum, so thanks in advance for helping with any rookie questions I may have along the way. I'll do my best to use the Search feature before I post anything too annoying. ;)

    Welcome to TW.

    Nice looking Truck.

I'm laughing because you already have the mod bug that comes as a unknown standard feature with all Tacomas.

You'll have lots of fun in your new truck.

Seems pretty natural! Been looking at simple little mods since I parked it in my driveway. Bug shield, window shields, matte black front emblem, yellow fog light covers, and a tonneau cover. :D
