I recently got a fiberglass topper that weighs around 200lb. I've noticed it's caused my rear to dip about an inch and it almost seems to be level with the front now. Front might be a tad lower. I was planning on using my front coils with 5100's set at .85, but now that this shell is weighing down my rear I'm not sure if that will pop my front up higher.

I got some skyjacker add a leafs for the rear as it advertised bringing your rig back to its normal ride height. But plenty of reviewers say it does actually lift the rear nearly 2in.
Before I attempt the swaps, would this setup give me a crazy take or level things out well? I don't want to look like a hot rod waiting to dive into the asphalt.

    Thanks!

I have 5100's on zero with 885 coils and a rear add a leaf. I sit level with my shell on.

I don't know if its just me but your rig looks to be two different colors. Your bed and cap looks the same but the cab looks lighter almost

Yeah it does that in certain light. Freaked me out after I first bought it and looked at pics I took. Had to go back outside to double check. The shell is factory Toyota paint but is off a little.

Before I bought a new leaf pack, I used Firestone Ride Rite airbags to bring the rear level with the front. The front was lifted about 2.5" at the time.

Thanks all, I'm going to look into the 885s. I already have the 5100s. Only thing I'm curious about is if I can keep everything else up front stock or if I need new control arms? Definitely want to keep it simple.

If your truck is a 4x4 V6, like mine, you'll get 2 or maybe 2.5" of lift at first. It'll settle a bit. You can run stock control arms. That said, it'll drive better with proper aftermarket UCAs and a good alignment. You can do that in the future though when you add some spacers to get it up to the CV eating 3" lift you really want...or is that just me?:bananadead:

Looks good but is that truck 2 different colors or is it just the lighting? Oops see you answered this already.

Last question, will that kind of lift make my P265 70Rs look weird?

The tires in my pic are 265 70r17 and stock control arms. Rides great.

Edit: if your 265 70's are on a 16 in wheel they will be smaller and look smaller than my pic.

If you measure up your truck that will take the guess work out of trying to figure out what lift you need. Hub to fender, front and back.

I felt that my 265/70/16 tires looked really small with that amount of lift. 265/75/16 looked much better and didn't have any major negative effects.
