Youre comparing a coastal state with direct international flights to a middle-of-nowhere state with no direct international flight.

That has nothing to do with political decisions and everything to do with travel logistics.

 

I think that considering the entire planet is taking steps to minimize the impact of the pandemic and educate the populace on how to minimize the impact of this deadly viral outbreak, you should probably stop poo pooing this and take it seriously. For the uninformed in the thread, China, Taiwan, and South Korea are actually using their collective intelligence and manufacturing capacity to help mitigate the spread of the virus.
The general populace there are practicing safe social distancing and proper hygiene as well as quarantine at the worst hot spots.

People in the USA are buying fucking toilet paper and calling this mess a "conspiracy theory" from aliens.

If people here are taking it seriously, it should help stop the spread.
