Yeah UPS will still be working. I supervise for the west regional air sorting hub at the other side of the country, corporate pretty much told us we are working no matter if we live or die there.

Wow, thanks for the insider tip. I feel like you guys are going to be on the front line!
Are they making you wear gloves and a mask or anything?

Feel like the contact would actually be quite minimal as far as delivery goes. The plus side to that is job security. I know a lot of people who are struggling to even afford food the next few weeks/months

Nothing yet, but the obvious sanitation is advised as well as not touching the face, eyes, or mouth. I work in the control room for our building so we wipe it down every time we start our shift. Apparently since everyone is closing up, the White House asked us to stay in operation and provide service to the customer and we do ship a ton of critical health care packages as well as the transport of human tissue. So it makes sense. I just wish that our health was more considered. Our plant engineering department cut back a lot of the porters so the place is not very clean with over 300 part time employees per shift in the warehouse.

But all things considered, UPS is running hard. Last night in a span of 4 hours we serviced 181,000 next day deliver packages to the western United State, which was 20,000 more than last week.

But so many I see aren't taking this serously. Just today at the winery where i work I saw 6 families come in. A couple had cjildren and one had an elderly person. I just don't get it. We have been working for a while to get stocked up and have money set aside

I’m in Washington and they just shut down pretty much everything besides grocery and department stores. It’s crazy. The Costco’s are insane

This is very off topic but I think the public awareness to the facts of this virus is extremely poor compared to past epidemics. The information going around varies from someone thinking it’s anthrax to the other person thinking it’s a common cold.

OK top of the axle tube to the bottom of the frame rail is 12 1/4" so apparently I have 4" of lift in the rear with all the weight of the bumper and spare hanging off the back.

That's about right. The Deaver U402 series target 3" lift with the rated weight range.
I think you have a decent amount under the stage 3 range of ~700-1000 lbs.

    Stage 2 are 400-600
    Stage 1 is 0-300

Yes Sir the only real rear weight is the SOS rear bumper with the swingouts and spare however much that weighs. Best top is light I am happy with it absolutely no complaints. It's high in the ass but I m ok with that my front lift has dropped to about 1 1/2" anyway but it all works great

1/2 the slider weight goes on rear axle, the swing out total is probably 250+ but also behind the axle equaling more, so the rear axle might be seeing 400-500 lbs over stock weight

Now drop about a 300 pound tongue weight on the hitch and goo down fire roads with it. This is how you sold me the product. This rear suspension setup should handle all that wonderfully especially when I add the cross tube

Yeah, so you should be right with the trailer on.
As we have seen from internet and bending frames towing offroad, you want extra capacity when towing offroad.

The entire weight of the trailer can work on the frame during a hard hit in a washout. I say keep as much bump travel as you can, once the bumps are compressed, the stress on frame ramps up if the payload and trailer have more force to impart.

Never even considered that they would bend like this until I saw this. Went and looked at mine and sure enough, mine aren't bent this bad but they sure aren't straight anymore either. Can't wait to get my set of hammer hangers and get them installed.

Thanks Eric I just have the standard Super bumps I have not spaced them up or anything. The truck only drops about 1/2-3/4" when the camper is hooked up

    Some of the things...
The crazy thing was that I tore mine up the most in Moab late last year and then wheeled a few times after and noticed they would bend back the other direction a bit (or back to sort of straight anyway). The stock hangers are just so flimsy its comical and then you lay one of the @ARCHIVE parts next to it and realize why.

@ARCHIVE Eric I have a question and a little advice would be appreciated. I have all the materials to build the crross tube between the Hangers. When measuring the distance in between I noticed 1 or both appear to be cocked inward just a touch. In the directions you stated to install the cross tube with the hangers only snug. will it be ok t o mount the plates with the hangers torqued and then measure for the cross tube or should I loosen it back up a little? Thanks IDK if it will really make much difference or not
