Personally I prefer yours, mind sharing the part number? The one thing I don't like about owning a DCLB is the small choice of wheel to wheel side steps.

It shouldn't stick like that, if it does it more than once (and proves to be more than a random incident) I'd think it was an issue that needed some attention. Never had an issue with the parking brake on other MTs I've driven, but my taco is an AT so I don't need the parking brake except on trails.

 

Yes, I found it amusing the emblem police having issues with a new member working on a PRO build with a Sport. You need the hood scoop to build up to a PRO.

I have always used my parking brake even in my Tacoma with AT and my Forte5 with AT. If I remember correctly when I took Drivers Ed(a very long time ago), we were instructed to always use the parking brake.

 

Thanks, they are the Black bead lock 17" tire upgrade. Gonna wear those out lift a few inches and seems 285/70/17 is a good tire size without cutting. These are 265/65/17

Regardless of whether you do or not with an AT, it sounds like something in the cable is seizing or otherwise not releasing properly. Could be the shoes sticking too, not 100% sure how to diagnose on your own. I'd have it looked at if it were mine.

Welp. With the quarantine coming im glad that I currently have a Pro Grille, Redline Hood Struts, Pedal Commander, and a bunch of Tufskinz accents coming to play around with. Might order an air intake while im at it. Just cant decide if i want TRD one for the look or if i want something else for actual performance. Kinda looking at the Injen one with the Ram air scoop. Oh and maybe ill order up the TRD exhaust too.
