I have a friend at PVH who i spoke with last week. She told me PVH and others are doubling and tripling up the beds in the rooms in an effort to stay ahead of the upcoming wave of infected. A lot of staff have been asked to stay home and wait until they are needed, in the hopes of not having all the staff infected at the same time
All of the senior health care facilities closed and locked their doors last week to all visitors except staff.
As of today, there are two confirmed cases at North Shore Manor in Loveland, one is a staff worker, the other a 90 year old resident. Pretty sure that resident ain't gonna make it. Someone gonna lose a grandparent over this. Think about everybody they have been in contact with.

Ok, getting off the soapbox. Be safe and be cautious out there. :fingerscrossed:

Looping back on this. I finally had my friend simulate the movement/flex of the camper by oscillating it by hand so I could look around the truck. Any ideas on how to better narrow down WHERE the frame is flexing and if the outer plates would stiffen it enough? I don't want to bother doing the outer plates just to find that the frame flex is further forward where the reinforcements don't do anything.

The bed seems solidly mounted, no cracks or issues there as the bed / 8-clamp / Vagabond interface are all a solid piece moving, so I have narrowed it down to the frame.

I did the CBI plates on a 2001 I owned briefly. It made a noticeable difference in chassis rigidity. I'd highly recommend some sort of reinforcement on your truck.

I'd like to do something similar on my 2008 in fact. With the shocks being outboard it's not quite as simple. My plan <someday> is to do a narrow plate along the top and bottom of the frame rails from maybe under the cab to the back bumper. I don't want to go full boxed frame, mainly because it's impossible to really paint and keep clean against corrosion.

I don't think Tacomas frames are weak necessarily but I think they are less rigid than older trucks. And I'm speaking from a point of view of having essentially the same outfit (in fact the exact same camper) on a 1991, 2001 and now 2008 truck.

Getting all kinds of stuff done today. :D
Wife has been complaining about the dryer not performing. We got a new roof last year, which means we got new roof vents.....
Sure enough, went up on the roof and the dumb asses left a screen on the dryer vent. There was about an inch thick solid mat of lint built up behind it.

Nope. Unfortunately, I've been fully remote for my company and we are semi-"insulated" from the situation, so it's work as normal... when I can focus.

Unfortunately construction is a tangible industry, we're still working on-site with no indication of stopping at this time.
