My wife is a nurse at Henry Mayo hospital. I'm working an alternate late shift in Westwood and my normal 2 hour drive was 40 minutes.

I just left the store and was expecting way worse. Meat, bread, eggs were really low, but plenty of pop tarts and Dr Pepper

 

I think most people, like me, only buy eggs now and again when a recipe needs them or the like. Say once a month. Then this shit hits, and everyone just buys them....even just one carton. Boom, theyre gone.

Most will just sit in a fridge and expire.


I bought some to make Creme Brulee...because I have a torch...and that shit is cool.
