Yes, I had to winch 3 times at Moab last year. @BAMF mounts are an excellent product.

I'll have to get a pic. It's definitely not 1/4" thick. Clearly, I'm missing something!

I stand corrected. Got a pic and got a measurement. It's 1/2 inch thick or so. Metal is 3/8 and Line-x is around an 1/8. So no go?

Well thought that came out better. I'll get some in the daylight if needed.

I sure hope something else is holding it on as well. Our brackets wont work with that unless you sand down the Line-X

Yeah. There's some much larger bolts in other places.

I have to pull the bumper off for something else. I'll see if I can do some sanding or whatever and go from there. Thanks!

So kind of a sad disappointment today. I had ordered the BAMF reinforcement brackets back in January. Went to install them today but they won’t fit the SOS Concepts Aluminium bumper without some pretty good cutting of some gusset on the side upper portion of the bumper and not sure I’d want to cut into that section.

The angle above the top stud interferes with the reinforcement bracket so they won’t mount.

Looks like it's time to replace the bumper.

...I only just got it but have been considering it. I would have purchased one of yours but really wanted the aluminium as I want to reduce front end weight.
Any idea if you will ever be coming out with one for 2nd gens?

No we wont be making a aluminum winch bumper. Maybe something like our 3rd gen but nowhere near as light weight as full aluminum.

I'd be keen to check one out if you end up making an alumi-steel 2nd gen.

No idea. I have the Slimline. You'll probably have to post a photo of the area where they install. I don't think anyone has tried with that bumper.

You will have to modify the bumper there are things in the way.
