I’ve had my Tacoma for just over a month now. I traded in a perfectly good 2019 car that I bought new less than a year ago. Definitely not a “smart” financial decision and timing was obviously terrible given the financial crisis we are in now. I typically also get a fair amount of buyers remorse on large purchases (even when they do make good financial sense).

All that being said, I love my new truck. The fact that I don’t have a huge amount of buyer’s remorse right now is a big testament to how much I love this truck.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
Unfortunately Imo they’ll be some really good deals in the near future on everything. Especially big purchase items. I’ve been watching for ski boat deals the last month or so. Prices are coming down and availability is going up. This time of year it’s usually opposite with folks getting ready for the season. I almost pulled the trigger on a nice Mastercraft last week. Now the market for buying is much better. “ Buy the lows”. I’ll watch and wait.

Sweet! So that gives me the idea that there's a very good chance prices will go down in the near future!

Very true, they will be happy to finance & throw extra discount as Toyota Credit makes money, make sure to ask for Open loan option which allows to pay once for all !! GL with the pro.

Just finalized the transfer for a 2020 Pro in AG for just over $3100 off MSRP! Left the dealership a deposit to get the transfer in, should be here this weekend. Had to finance with the to get this price but I can always refi with my CU after.

Kind of wanted to hold off until end of month but considering everything I read says that Pro's go for over MSRP I had to pull the trigger

^^this. Get a TRD offroad and take the cash savings to spend on aftermarket lift, wheels/tires, etc. If you end up keeping the truck longer than a year or two, you will eventually install mods and upgrades taking out a lot of the Pro parts anyway. Get a local garage to install the parts and help keep our small businesses working since our economy is about to take a shitter.

My friend is the general manager at a Toyota locally. He said it is a ghost town. Absolutely the best time to buy a vehicle if you have extra funds. Cash deals do work only if you negotiate before on the overall price paid. Do not show them your cards before you have the number.

    Good luck and stay safe.

Life is short, sometimes you just have to move on. I dumped a brand new 2016 Jeep Wrangler after 7 months because I hated it more than I could've imagined. Fortunately Wranglers had great resale and and I lost only $900 over 7 months. Enjoy your Truck!

^^^^^Wait until April when dealers will be salivating for any customer with a heartbeat. Supply and demand will work in your favor.

What blows my mind is how people talk about "how much off MSRP"

Depending on how many more (or less) options there are added, will determine how much you can save since each option has its own mark up.

Surprised no one bothers to get invoice, or even split the hold back. Even better when the dealership is close to getting their VGP and splitting that for the vehicle sold.

Plenty of ways to save more money. :anonymous:
