80 degrees today and a little uptight about all this chaos we have in our lives right now. I went outside and did a little outside therapy trimmed the apple trees, weeded the front flower bed, and hand washed the truck for the first time in a couple of months. While we are almost all facing the inevitabillity of confinement for a period of time I am at least thankful I live in a house with a yard instead of like my daughters both being in apartments. I can go out and breath some fesh air and feel the sun on my face, sit on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee watching all the neighbors wake up, grill some meat and have dinner and a bottle of wine on the deck, yet, still maintane my seperation from the world as best I can. I wish I could tell my babies to put their lives on hold, come home, and hibernate with us but not sure that's a good idea for us all either.

why didn't somebody tell me it was so late?!?!? :goingcrazy:

I went for a drive after I was done working and while I was out I didn't realize that I had neglected to reset the clock in the Chevy for daylight savings so....I'm out thinking "hmm..getting kinda hungry, I should head home for dinner..." Got home to realize that it was 630 not 530 and no wonder I'm so damn hungry. So now dinner is FINALLY done and I'm starving and quite frankly a little cranky too.

    Got White Zin. Damn hoarders...
Was actually feeling pretty good after my drive. Staying home all day is a little rough I will admit. Not really a people person to begin with so I'll be fine. I just needed a little change of scenery and some windshield time to chill out.

Oh my goodness though a nice aged in oak Cab Franc smooth about 3 years old ummmm. our last we bottled was/ is yummy. I stuck my head in the holding tank and it was like smelling a humador with really good cigars, the wine was very smooth almost no tanins I think I bought 4 bottles after we bottled it. I have about 3-4 mixed cases chillin down stairs

    Very well said.
We are also thankful for where we live. Still kinda cold to sit on the deck with coffee.
I have the next 3 weeks off.
Wife was supposed to go to Minneapolis this week to help out with grandson. That got canceled.
The 2 boys that live in Austin are in contact with us more. Their getting ready to plant the garden.
Son that lives in Sarasota is calling almost every day. We have plans to go down there next month. Now we are going to cancel. I was really excited about going there again. Last year had a very relaxing time.
    I need that again.

Get up 30 minutes earlier and you'll have time to commute back to your house for work.
