Hey guys, I've noticed my coilovers ride much better after the suspension has been drooped for a few minutes such as when jacking up the front end for some work. I'm wondering if this is a sign of needing a rebuild or something else. I can't be the only one who has noticed this.

To add, I did notice one of the remote resi hoses weeping a very little bit of fluid a while back but it seems to have stopped. Icon ext travel C/O with 650lb springs on a DCLB if that matters any. I figure maybe it has to do with decompressing the spring fully compared to when it has settled for a while at ride height.

    Any ideas?

What do you mean exactly by "riding better"?
You may want to check nitrogen pressure and make sure they are fully charged, and keep a charge.

What should the pressure be kept at in the King Resi's anyway?

And where can one get this nitrogen to fill them up?

You can probably reach out to a local welding shop or fab shop to charge shocks.

Yea, usually not an issue, but if the shock start leaking oil it could also leak nitrogen pressure. Unfortunately you will need a special gauge to measure the nitrogen pressure on the shocks, you cannot just use a tire pressure gauge.

This is why I figured I'd ask you guys first if that's symptomatic of a rebuild necessary or possibly something else. I live in a small town and it's going to be a PIA to get these rebuilt on my daily.

    Thank you :D
