Is it okay to put ceramic coat over the black hood decals on my Pro?

I am really concerned about the vinyl hood decals and the black vinyl between the door windows discoloring in the Phoenix sun and heat. Do you think it would help if I put ceramic coating over this vinyl to protect it? Thanks!

I don't know about the hood decals since I opted not to have them, but you don't need anything on the doors or bedsides. You also bought a pro so I'm assuming it'll have plenty of AZ pinstriping within a month or so. With the trail running I do the vinyl will have to be replaced every few years anyway.

Yes ceramic coating will be fine and add some protective layer. It does degrade some over time so a refreshing coating once per year should be good, but that stuff is good.

Hell at this point I probably have nothing but whatever BS top coating the automatic wash at Cobblestone Autospa puts on at the end of the wash. I might put a coat of wax on it this weekend though, got nothing else to do!

I would say remove them. But judging from your avatar and the 6 Pro threads you created, you want attention.
