    I took the invoice price off Edumnds and added accessories that were on the spec sheet. came out to about 300 over invoice

    Thanks. Hopefully I can take delivery when it gets here. The truck is coming from CA (which is on state wide mandatory lock down). Still waiting to hear back from the dealership what the status is.

    You'll just have to meet at a notary, and sign (and notarize) the board of equalization paperwork. It's the proof that said dealership conducted the vehicle transaction, and you as the customer took delivery of the vehicle outside of CA.

    Simple process.

    Hopefully they know it well enough to help you get your Pro to you.

    If you wait until after CV is gone and all is back to normal, the price of everything is probably going to go up inflation. You might get a better deal though.

    what state are you in? here in NY, most guys i know have gotten the 2019 and 2020 for about 6 grand under MSRP. If you play it right, wait till the last two days of the month when they are trying to get sales to cut down on holdback and lot fees, you can score some sick deals. Whats the MSRP on the one youre looking at buying? if its say, 38k, shoot for no more than 33/34. They dont need to take thier wives out to a five course meal on your dime. You save that money and take your own wife out in your new truck. Screw sales people.

    Invoice, in my experience, varies across regions and dealers. The Monroney sticker (MSRP) doesn’t.

    The only thing that would change would be the destination charge which is different for Hawaii and Alaska.

    I'm not speaking from experience as a buyer, but rather as a dealer.

    Bestfriend runs the internet department at our local Toyota dealership, and I'm a finance director at a company where we have multiple franchises (Chevy, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Chrysler, Nissan, Kia).

    Invoice is a thing, among all the manufacturers stated above, as well as many that I haven't listed.

    You are also in a region known to consistently screw over people here on deals. That’s why they buy out of state.

    On the contrary, it's the most difficult state as a dealership to sell a car.

    A normal car deal, that's financed, involves approximately 32 ft of paperwork. A lot more paperwork is done to protect both the buyer and the seller than any other state.

    Let's not forget that dealerships in other states don't have caps and limitations on many items for instance, documentation fee. It cost $85 in California and not one cent more can be charged then that. I've had people show me their contracts for vehicles purchased out-of-state only to see that they paid between 800 to 1200 Justin documentation
