I didn't realize all that. I like watching MMA, but I don't get into all the technical stuff.

 

The wife use to use that stuff , I give up with her on nails . She’ll give em done then get home and start jacking with them why pay that damn money !

We can't stop life just because we have our nails done lol. Rob gets on me for doing yard work or dishes right after I do my nails "you're going to fuck up your nails". He's usually right lol.

Maybe get her into doing them herself and obviously giving her "me time" to do them.

Aus got sucked into fighting that guys fight! Should have used his jab the first 2 rounds along with his front kicks to keep the guy at bay. That was cautious. He hurt him at one point and should have went in aggressively on the attack. He kind of stepped back and let the guy take a breath.

 

I just told a gal...in this life, you're either born rich or good lookin, and I ain't got no money.

 

Aus had more significant strikes and 3rd largest strike differential for the night. That’s why I was frustrated with this one. He was capable of winning he just fought the other guys fight for 2 rounds. You can’t do that.

 

The metrics are effective striking, effective grappling, fight area control, aggressiveness, and defense.

Other guy outscored him with the bolded metrics in the first two.

I appreciate your honesty and totally agree with you. The judges scored it correctly; Austin was completely capable of winning that fight, just wasn't aggressive enough.

That said, he did very good against an Olympic class wrestler. He didnt get dominated on the ground and prevented any real damage. A lot of strikers get destroyed by Olympians. He was able to defend and get back up. Though he lost, your boy is a better fighter in my opinion.

Unfortunately for Aus, one of the arguments with MMA scoring in regards to grappling is they give points for a take down regardless if it caused any damage. This guy took Austin down, Austin got up. He didn’t do ground and pound on him when he was down. There was no damage. This has been a big argument with the scoring system. Until it’s changed, it is what it is and he lost.
