    Good Morning Folks :hattip:.

Welcome to the porch Tony. As folks said great group on here.

Keep trying Dave. If she doesn't get home soon, she might be Island bound for quite a while. Hope they are okay.

But on a different note, I booked reservations with United for a return flight yesterday. All was good as the plane was full except for one seat:D which was between the missus and I so we had room to relax. We must have caught a strong tail wind because our flight got in almost an hour early  which was great except we had to wait for my son and DIL to pick us up. Sooo of course I found the Dunkin Donut in the airport and had a coffee while waiting. Immigration was a breeze as there was no line at all. The officer we went to wasn't familiar with Mobile Passport app so the one next to him helped him out and talked with us about what they were doing about the virus and how it was affecting international travel. Plenty of free agents. Got our bags and cooler (we brought some frozen homemade meals down). When we were leaving baggage the agent asked if "we would mind if he asked what we had in the cooler". We told him 6 rolls of toilet paper, a can of baked beans, a can of ravioli, and a can of tuna fish because we didn't know what to expect when we got home. He laughed about bringing home TP but said go ahead. Stopped at WAWA near home and got milk and a loaf of bread and finally home. Felt great to sleep in our own bed. Now the fun part is contacting United to cancel our original flight and get a refund for it. GOOD to be HOME.

Thanks Carl. I had to laugh at a lot of the folks on the plane sitting there with face masks and rubber gloves on and wiping everything down with Clorox wipes, only to take the masks down when the beverage cart came down the aisle and take the gloves of to eat the snacks while the person sitting next to them has none of these personnel protection items and is chatting away with them. How much safer were they on a full plane????:notsure:. Hopefully we will get through this unscathed. You take care and be safe as well.

Just kidding of course. Thanks Mark now it's catch up time on income tax and other items that haven't been taken care of in 2 months:annoyed: . But it's good to be home.

June 31st, is that a leap year thing? ;)

We heard from them yesterday. They should be on a flight today. They're still enjoying the sun and beach. Half of me is ticked off at them, half of me is jealous. :anonymous:

Welcome home! Now you're stuck there like the rest of us. o_O

We're trying to figure out how best to do our shopping run. My folks need things too so we want to combine them into one trip. I think I will look into the early morning hours for seniors thing, that might be our best bet.

Stay safe everyone! And keep smiling.

I looked into it. The only grocery chain near us with special hours for seniors is Giant, and they're doing it from 6 to 7 am.

Morning Susan :hattip:. Thanks for the welcome home;). Glad to be back and it will take a day or two to get adjustd to the events here in PA.
Glad you heard from them and they are safe. It's hard to leave the warm, sunny beach with clear warm water behind:D, but right now, it's best to be home.

I just got back from the shopping run There A LOT of people out. The food store was not horrible at all. Pasta aisle looked very sad as did the paper aisle, but neither was empty. Some of the fresh meats were not being put out. But there was no mayhem and there were no lines. I got shopping done for us, the cats, and my folks.

Hope you all are faring equally well!

Fair. A rare stove is back in North Carolina, Postal Service shipped it there, hope it doesn't go out for delivery and instead comes back to Kalifornia. Should have been in my hands Thursday or Friday at the latest.
Watching my temperature, feel flushed?, checking my temp, was 97.7, went to 98.2, wanted to go snow camping, all packed.

A lot of things can give you a fever, such as the "normal" seasonal flu. Keep an eye on the temp, and your breathing. The nastiest attack vector of COVID-19 is the lungs. Fingers crossed for you!

I get this way a few times a year, last Dr. visit was no help. I take some zinc, herbal resistance stuff and black elderberry usually.
