I installed JDM Break & Trun signals with resistors and still got Hyper Flash when I turned on my Headlights.

Triple checked to see if I correctly installed the Resistors, and still Hyper Flash??

Removed LEDS completely AND STILL get intermittent occasional right side / passenger side hyper Flash??

    WTF ??? Any suggestions?

    Cheers

You pulled the leds and went back to stock and its still hyper? I understand the leds aren’t working and maybe someone here can help but just a suggestion for future questions regarding any vendor...
Contact them first directly. Makes the whole situation look better and 90% of the time they can fix it faster than anyone else here can.

I switched back to the Stock OEM bulbs and unhooked the resistors and still get intermittent Hyper Flash only on the Passenger side.

Loose connector or bent prong on the connector? Can’t be a fuse because you’re still getting power to it.
    Have you contacted MESO yet?
Internal load resistor could just be a bad batch and you need a replacement. Just contact them.

Do the leds have to be put in a certain way, I tried leds for a while and found that I had to flip the bulb around 180 to work properly.

Maybe when you put the halogens in, you put them in too fast and didn’t check to make sure it was seated well. I did this once.

Not sure ... but on older vehicles there was a "hazard/turn flasher module" or some such similar. Basically a relay. These were changed when added lights (i.e. trailer) were added (due to higher flashing rates with added lights/amps). Check to see if equipped ?? This might now be in the computer modules and relay gone ??? JMO.

When it's flashing fast with out the LEDs,are all the lights flashing? Sounds like a loose connection.

    https://www.diodedynamics.com/front-turn-signal-leds-for-2016-2020-toyota-tacoma-pair.html

" ...........Reduced Load. When it comes to LED upgrades, you'd think the lower power draw would be a great feature! However, the Tacoma looks for a specific power draw from the turn signals. LEDs will make the vehicle think a bulb has gone out, due to lower power draw. This causes a "hyperblink," or fast-blinking turn signal, which can be corrected with LED Resistors or an LED Flasher. ......"

Or in other words with your resistor out and original bulbs installed either a bulb is bad or the bulb socket / pins connections is intermittent.

In your first post you mentioned that it’s not consistent so my vote is a bad connection somewhere. I’d double check all the wiring and sockets that you originally changed to LED’s. The devil is in the details :annoyed:
