Rear seat platform

I made a rear platform to attach my sub a few years back. Tacoma has been sold, still have this lying around.

Works with the rear seat bottom folded forward. Has a blemish on the rear corner, but thats not visible since it tucks under the rear seat top when installed. Just slides in (thats what she said).

So what exactly is this for?

 

It has a flatter and large surface area than the area under the seat. Basically when you fold the seat bottom forward the area under the seat is not flat, so it wasn't easy to velcro my sub in place. This made it possible.

Someone could use it to drill in hooks or velcro.

 

Some folks use these as dog platforms, etc. as it makes the rear seat area completely flat.
