Good luck finding somebody to do it not alot of people do.it anymore I've been having a hell of a time finding a shop to do it

It pisses me off I have the parts I have the money but everybody like we don't do that or we can swap a new third member for you but I'm like no I need mine rebuilt there like we don't do that

Fawk that I watched YouTube videos that's way above my pay grade for doing it for free lol

 

The God damn water pump in my work truck took a day to replace i.dont know who's idea it was to put everything on top of the water pump but yea everything on the front of that engine had to come off

 

That's how most engines are these days. Usually you replace timing belt/chain/gears when you do water pumps, too.

All you need is a dial indicator, some of that yellow grease and a torque wrench.

 

There's stuff i like to do with my hands I like to work with wood but being a mechanic isnt one of them I can do alot but I don't like to

 

Or somebody who does it on a regular basis and about 500 bucks

 

Yeah it’s a pretty intense job. It took me and a friend almost a week to do his back in14. Like 5 of those days we worked on it while making sure we were doing it correctly took us like “ hours a piece
