I bought a 2017 Tacoma Limited in 2017. The constant shifting drove me crazy! I had all the TSB's applied and it still made me nuts. Fast forward three years and I just picked up a 2020 Pro. HUGE DIFFERENCE in shifting. The Pro transmission operates like any other automatic transmission I have owned in the past. No constant shifting.

I love the 2020 LED lights vs. the lights in my 2017.

Absolutely love the adjustable driver's seat in the 2020.

Now the things I don't like. The JBL stereo bass in the 2017 pounded much harder than the 2020 JBL stereo. I have the tone controls at the same position. I miss the extra bass!

I miss the painted fender flares on my 2017 Limited. The 2020 Pro comes with the black plastic flares. They are going to get scratched and discolor very easily.

Also, the fog lights on the 2020 Pro provide minimal light. They don't help at all. However, the 2017 fog lights put out a noticeable amount of light.

I am mixed on the 2017 OEM tonneau cover vs. no cover on the 2020. Still not sure if I want to try another cover. Gonna drive without a cover for a while and see which I like more. Miss the security of the 2017 cover.

Also concerned about the OEM bed divider my 2020 Pro came with. It is ripe to be stolen since it doesn't lock in anyway. Time will tell!

Other than the above, the trucks are pretty much the same. Just thought I'd share my experience for anyone who is considering a 2020 Tacoma.
