In a world of stringent standards and fierce competition between OEM's, if a spacer could get you 1-2mpg, Toyota would put it on. That's my input, could be wrong though.

I think OVTune may have played with one a little, I don’t recall the outcomes though. Toyota did offer to clean mine during my 30k service however. Throttle body, not spacer.

If this $2 piece of aluminum did all that, it would be in there already. Unless you believe Toyota is trying to rob you of MPGs, torque and HP. Look at your tail lights. Those ribs on the side are for MPG. That’s how competitive the chase for economy is.

Also, the "air dam". They manufactured that nonsense for only maybe 1 to 2 mpg.

And didn't even succeed, but they left it on anyways so people with them would have something to take off and feel like they've modded their trucks.

I install one of these in every vehicle. It is worth serious MPG and HP. I really like the LED lights that the newer units have. It's like a dance party for the air flow.

Edit, pro tip. If you hook up the light wiring to the speakers it will work as a light organ. And if you do the same with the fan power you will get more power playing Metallica or ACDC

not worth it. If you are doing some mods and swapping to a bigger throttle body such as the tundra it make sense but mainly is an adaptor more than a spacer.

One can never have too many light bars.
If you wanna hear a different noise when you hit the throttle this is the perfect product for you. If you want extra power/ fuel Economy look elsewhere.

Throttle body spacers work as good as does a carb spacer . The taller they're it will increase plenum volume . Such as from https://wilsonmanifolds.net/

I've run alot of their products and very happy with the performance gains

My truck had (has) one when I bought it.

Nothing. Nothing at all. No sound, no power. Just a hunk of aluminum.

The good news is all those old tricks rarely improve modern Engines, the bad news is you have fewer things to spend your money on .

So AFE has better Engineers than Toyota? Toyota needs to recruit some of AFEs Talent, they could improve mileage 10 MPGs with all of Toyotas resources.

Tapered spacers as mfgd by https://wilsonmanifolds.net/ can and will increase air flow by 110cfm

Also tapered spacers work so well NASCAR banned the use of them

Pretty sure it's been done. Do a search. These things have been around forever now. Just costs twice as much as mine did. (P.O. told me it was 50 bux.)
If not, it's because no one obtained any results they were proud of. The stuff for race cars is completely different and is tuned for with AF ratios and dynos. You don't just throw on a spacer and get gains to anything.

edit: Am I missing something or is all the Wilson hardware for carbs.?
