Hey everyone, me and my wife just aquired a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road/Super White and we are new to the Tacoma world, but we are looking to make some upgrades to it.. for starters wheels. We aren't in the market for a lift at the moment and are going to stick to stock suspension and we were just wondering if a 16x8 0 offset on a 265/70/16 tire will fit stock without rubbing or have enough backspace.. I've been looking at the M/T Sidebiter II 16x8 0 offset and I think they would look really nice on the truck. Any info helps
    Thank you, RickTRD

Should be good. Might have some slight rubbing in reverse but probably not.

    Mods? Yes.
Particularly when in 4wd, the front wheel will want to flex toward the rear of the wheel well. But turning while reversing can put enough pressure to do this too

    Everything flexes.

Might have to remove the mud flaps, might not. The tires and wheels will look fantastic on your truck. Congrats.

You don't like the stock Offroad wheels?

265/70-16 is stock tire size. 0 offset on an 8" wheel equals 4.5" of backspace.

You will have no issues with that set up!

My exact setup except for style of wheel. Slight rub if you have mud flaps. I trimmed about 1/2” off and all is OK. To determine where they rub, just do a full turn in one direction and back up. The rub marks on the mud flaps show you where to trim. Just trim the same area on the other side.

Also I just plasti dipped the chrome grill and badge's. I think they turned out pretty good for first time plasti dipping
