Damage from 2" wheel spacers?

Nah. Not to the ball joints. Not to the spindles. Not to the bearings. People say it does, but it’s a myth. It’s so negligible it’s not even worth measuring.

Most of the time the people crying about wheel spacers got that hella neggy offset.

 

For what it's worth (not much): In Fairbanks, AK, my local tire shop will no longer service vehicles with spacers on because they have been known to fail in the extreme cold, as in, wheel leaves the vehicle and goes it's own way. Other than that, at what cost looking cool for the moment?

 

They make 2” spacers?? Lol The only ones I’ve seen are 1.25 or less.

Because we all have panty problems bro. In the fake hood skewps. In the TRD fake beadlocks. In the DAI. Panties everywhere. I got a ticket for these things just flying off the truck.

Do yourself a favor and try this before you get spacers. Grab a 5lbs bag of sugar. Hold it with one hand close to but not touching your chest. See how long you can hold it. Then extend your arm and see how long you can hold it away from your body. Compare and contrast your results. That is what you are doing with spacers.

 

Someone should run 2" spacers with those BR6's. What a legend.

What my friend here is trying to say...Make sure if you put spacers on your truck, your trucks protein intake is sufficient.

 

I would go no more than 1.5” and make sure they are hub centric wheel adapters. If there not hub centric ur going to have all kinds of problems, been there done that lol.

 

I ran 2inch spacers for a year and a half. No issues. Just make sure you loctite the nuts so they don't come loose. I needed 2 inch spacers to run 35s on stock rims with minimal rubbing.

 

After participating in the broken stud thread I think I now understand why some people here are so afraid of spacers.
