There are a few hashtags I follow on IG related to work, but was wondering if it's normal or not for people to follow hashtags?

For example, do you follow #tacomaworld or #toyotatacoma or something similar?

FWIW, I've found hashtags only to really be useful in IG to try and find pictures of specific things, so I want to make sure I use the right hashtags on my posts.
