Pretty good fishing there. I've only targeted musky, but ran into a good amount of perch last I was there. Give me a shout out if you're ever close and alone, I would love to get out sometime.

Make sure to purchase insurance, and you shouldn't have to worry.

People that are hoarding tp are the same type to panic buy firearm shit. Everything is going to be fine.

If you're dumb enough to think this is the beginning of the end, you're also not able to comprehend that in an actual end of the world scenario gun shots mean there's someone willing to defend something valuable and you just gave up your location for more to come at you and try to take whatever it is you have.

Not to mention if you're buying gun shit now instead of when things were stable, you're paying 2-4x as much.

Being out and about no one has a clue just what a life sustaining business is.

I can see Medical and Food keeping the Power and Phones and the internet up.

Just where do you draw the line Then Oil and Gas it just never ends ??

This is what I do not understand as well. A ton of people are hoarding ammo like they need 5k rounds to defend their property. If you are shooting that much to defend your property, there will be people who will work as a team to take your 5k rounds. No one ran out looting in any other country, everyone just hunkered down.

The problem is when you start looking back at the supply lines. Like, manufactured wood products aren't on the list, but without pallets no one is shipping anything. Vending machine operators aren't on the list, but most of the life-sustaining businesses have vending machines to feed their employees.

Also I figure if I just shoot the first guy and let him rot in the driveway I won't have to shoot anyone else. Will save on dogfood too.

I'm in logistics. We are the people that get the food, fuel, parts, and other stuff from one place to another so that the cost of getting it to where it needs to be is reasonable (anti-inflationary), and the the time it takes to get there prevents spoilage, death, etc.
Yes, we really do not need to have the schools, and a lot of other services open that can be put off to a later date, and any or all mass transit is by far the most high risk location to be in....
However, these grandiose directives, by people that are more interested in headlines and revenue, than actually attempting to solve the issues, are simply not helping. Instead of rushing to get in front of the camera, there should have been more effort put into understanding what the repercussions will be.

"Just because you can, does not mean that you should" - unknown The epitaph of the boomer generation

The largest problem facing the majority of the population at the current moment is that when you close a business that is 'not essential' which a company that is 'essential' needs to operate, you basically make that 'essential' service unable to be 'effective'.

Just FYI, business that support essential businesses are being given waivers anyway. We basically secured our supply line via supporting them to obtain waivers.

You are correct, there were 30,000 waiver requests from the initial statement.
30,000 just in PA, in a 24 hour period of time.
    More coming today.
Already working on solution paths for when other states start jumping on the band wagon.

While I remain optimistic that clearer heads will prevail, that doesn't mean the wound will heal itself.

I wish people would think before they speak.

I also wish that people would stop thinking that the world revolves around themselves.

Most people do not know that it takes roughly 300 people in order for them to enjoy a cup of coffee. If you stop caring about, or sharing with, or helping out enough of those people, there will be no more coffee. Almost all "things" rely on a network of people.

Yeah no ski but we tried. the lake was 2.5' higher than it was last week. Which sucked. I'm still learning the whole musky thing and playing with the side imaging and auto chart on my fish finder. Just basically getting a good feel for the boat before we hit the river. I did lose a hellhound vertical jig...aka $27.49. O well.
