Is the clunk happening when you release the clutch very fast or when you slowly release it? Mine will clunk if I take my foot off really fast while in neutral. But mine operates great under normal driving and releasing.

Its not an uncommon noise .
As you release your foot off the clutch in Neutral , the mainshaft gearing as well as the countershaft gearing inside the transmission begins turning . To verify this is what you are hearing , use something with a long handle from your ear to the shifter and listen closely
There is really nothing in the clutch pedal assembly other than an over center spring under the dash , everything else in the clutch assembly is controlled by hydraulics .

I get a clunk in my 2019 if I push the clutch in while under load, it sounds like something's breaking but I'm at almost 13K miles and no issues, no mention of it from the dealer that's doing my service. I didn't buy from them, so it's not like they have a reputation to uphold. Best I can guess, it sounds like clutch stuff banging around, like a sprung hub maybe, and the tranny itself with it's bushings releasing tension. I'm not worried about it myself, really.
