Upgraded Head Unit for 2013 AC

    Im looking to replace my factory radio head unit in my 2013 access cab (w/o sharkfin). Im aiming to be able to have touch-screen control with spotify, podcasts, and navigation be able to use google maps and Gaia GPS through my iphone. Is this essentially the function of apple car play? Id love that, but dont want to break the bank on it and stay under $500. Im searching on Crutchfield, and it seems the more expensive ones have internal GPS units, wouldnt that be what my phone would serve as? I drive with my phone plugged in / blue tooth connected 99% of the time.
