Nebraska where you at???

I searched the thread, and I don't think this has been asked yet. For those in Lincoln, any recommendations for places to go to get an alignment? Any shops that do lifts (with customer supplied parts) and can be trusted to do it right?

 

I’ve had “The Shop” do a custom alignment and had Dirks Auto install my lift while I supplied the parts. I like the guys at Dirks.

Someone taking a pit stop in Lincoln today. I think it was a South Dakota plate.

 

Dang fellas it has been a minute since I been on here. Still got my 13 white Taco pretty much stock. Have been busy with a now 6yr old daughter and 2 yr old son. Still fishing pretty much every weekend either just for fun or catfish tournaments. Oh and dang GQ you post alot lol! Anywho just checking in, have been tempted here lately to go and check out a Tundra, but I really want to get the Taco paid off first and I am almost there.

I no longer have my 99 Taco, sold it to a friend who got it impounded twice. I ended up buying a newer boat after selling it but I do regret not having that truck anymore.

 

I loved my Tacoma, and I regret selling it everyday. That being said. I LOVE my Tundra. The power is awesome, it tows fantastic, it's much bigger than the Tacoma. Doesn't go Offroad quite the same, and I hate parking it in small parking lots. But other than that, no regrets getting rid of the Tacoma.

 

To add to the Tundra talk. The red one in the background is my old 2013 Crewmax. The black one is my new Tundra double cab. I like having the 6.5' bed rather than the 5.5 on the Crewmax. Both trucks have been awesome to me so far!

 

Is anyone in the Omaha area that would be willing to help put on some assembled front 5100s (beer will be provided of course). Or suggest a cheap auto shop that can do it for me. I’m stationed at Offutt and all my tools are back home with my brother

Anyone know of a good shop in the Omaha area that'll apply Fluid Film to the underside of our trucks?

Been looking around and the shops I've called use everything BUT Fluid Film

I know a guy who does his own car with fluid film at the shop. Not sure they do it professionally. if you're still working I can hit them up and see if they do it.

I did it myself last year with the aerosol cans. This year i bought a compressor attachment. Hopefully doing my truck this weekend

 

I feel like the guy who talked to me at a couple red lights last week in Lincoln has to be on here? Red DCLB 2nd gen with front and rear bumpers and a soft topper?

 

It wasn't me, but I'm in Lincoln. I picked up a MGM DCSB about 4 months ago. It was shortly after I moved to Nebraska about 10 years ago that I started to notice and like Tacomas. I was hoping to come here and find a stronger Nebraska presence on TW, but unless they're all just hiding or there are other Nebraska threads, there doesn't seem to be too many active on here.

 

Welcome! I've probably seen you around town at some point. I agree, the TW Nebraska presence is slim. Are you in the Tacomaha group on Facebook? (It's not really any more active... I think the issue is we just don't have the areas nearby to actually use our trucks.)

I really only personally know of a couple guys with modded tacomas and I know they are on here but I'm not even sure of their usernames. One is a white 2nd gen on 37's and the other is a MGM 3rd gen with a sweet Brute Force Fabrication front bumper.
