    Thanks. They have closed a lot of beaches in Florida but they are letting oura stay open. I still have to work installing windows though so my town hasn't closed up too much besides restaurants/bars.

    I've never been bitten, but they do swim toward you. Some say its its because they're looking for a solid object to climb up and get out of the water, but I've been on the shoreline plenty of times when they've come at me for no apparent reason.

    Ive been charged by timbers before and one diamondback ( i deserved it with that one ) and one baby but the only time Ive ever seen them swim was when we spook one and it swims across a creek to get away.
    Man you would have to watch the dogs and the kids everytime all the time in snake country.
    Im just not used to having to look up and in the water and on the ground.
    At least rattlers usually give you a split second warning.

    Those stealth vipers are some kind of nasty snake.
