    No you haven't. But I probably could use one! The weak points on the hi lift are clamping to the truck and traction at the ground. Either point slips and someone or something gets broken.

    Will they still work if I have a top plate on my sliders?

    Definitely!! These provide a lot more surface area to grab the slider to prevent slippage on the slider itself. Yes it will still work with the top plates.
