    Most definitely haha.
Glad to hear. I know that I want compressions adjusters on my rears to match the front when the time comes, so naturally I've been drawn to the fox 2.5's RR's with DSC adjusters.
Although this route is also appealing for all the reasons you mentioned. Possible even more adjustability than a DSC adjuster...

So, by default the resi is supposed to be mounted on the stock bumper bolts (green circles). As you can see my CBI bumper complicates that option. Ideally I'd like to put them horizontal, on the frame at the two red holes but the hose is way too long and unwieldy. I didn't mess with any of the fitting because, with (I believe) 200 psi behind them I didn't want to make a high-pressure, leaky mess. For now they are out of the way (for "normal" driving) attached to the stock front skid plate until I can get some custom-length hoses made and with life as it is now, who knows when that will be. Literally the truck will now just sit for several weeks (or however long it takes for the shelter-in-place directives to be rescinded) and in that time I will find someone who can make the custom hoses, depressurize the system, get new hoses on and then re-pressurize with nitrogen.

    Patience is a virtue...and a Bitch! ;-)

30mm but still a lovely and effective piece of aeronautical engineering that makes neat noises.

Putting it anywhere under the steering wheel area seems like it would just get in the way too much for me.
Might not be as bad for a shorter individual.
Why not fasten it to the side of the shifter area or somewhere around the center console area?

I'd hate to be a cop waking up on some dude with that. To each their own, but I prefer it in my side or in my pocket.

Correct me if I’m wrong, please, but isn’t it illegal in Az to drive with a loaded handgun within arms reach?

    yeah no surprised really.

Honestly the center console seems like the only place for it. Or between the seat and the console would be nice, in reach, but mostly out of site. A console vault is probably best though.

ARIZONA WEAPONS AND FIREARMS LAWS FAQs
If I'm traveling through Arizona with a firearm, can I have it in my vehicle?
Generally speaking, yes. However, it also depends on your age and mode of carry inside the
vehicle. For example, Arizona’s “Constitutional Carry” law (est. July 29, 2010) allows any citizen
who can legally own/purchase a firearm and is 21 years or older to carry it loaded and
concealed on their person without any type of permit or license anywhere inside the vehicle.

I normally keep mine in the door card/pocket and is stays there well but it's not the quickest. I've tried in the top console. But nothing else can really fit with it.
I'm to fat to carry on my waist while sitting in the car. It's way to uncomfortable.
I think that under the stering wheel would be ok if its flat.

Mines stuffed between the seat on console, if I think I might use it (coyotes and chit). Other than that it’s in a soft case in my backpack.

I know you guys keeping easily accessible of other reasons, but for me that’s the easiest, most comfortable place I’ve found.

Finally got around to mounting my phone draws. I used the seat locations to bolt to. Still have to add metal trim, rubber/carpet, paint, and add a rear and front extension for the dogs. But it's functional for now and will be great for easy access of supplies while camping. Or tools the rest of the time.

Stuff and things that make it better.
I always liked the molle panel on the center console idea:

To each his own. I'd prefer to proficient in drawing and presenting from a holster on my body while in the truck so I don't need to worry about unholstering and re-holstering everytime I get in and out of the vehicle. Just because it looks cool, doesn't mean it's practical. But like I said, to each his own.

Drawing from a strong side (2 to 5 o'clock position) holster while buckled in can be real tough. Cross draw (9 to 11 o'clock) is pretty easy to draw from, but not everyone carries that way.
